Django view functions are simple and easy to use but sometimes you find yourself repeating a lot of the same work over and over. Luckily, Django also offers a way to create views as classes which can lead to cleaner, more reusable code. Class-based views have a lot of nooks and crannies, though, so let us show you around this powerful tool!
Introducing ES2015 Guil Hernandez &Ken Howard
Learn the basics of the ECMAScript 2015 javascript standard. JavaScript has come a long way since it’s inception in 1995. The ECMAScript 2015 specification brought a lot of improvements, the largest set of changes the language has seen to-date. In this course, we’ll review some of the new features and demonstrate how they can be used to build better JavaScript applications.
php Basics Alena Holligan
In this course, we’ll walk you through the basics of the language, ranging from basic statements to conditionals. We’ll be creating a simple “Unit Converter” as well as a “Daily Exercise Program”. We’ll then finish up by combining those programs with HTML to create a personal webpage to demonstrate your skills.
PHP Arrays and Control Structures Alena Holligan
This course builds on the foundational skills covered in the PHP Basics course. We’ll explore conditionals, loops, and the compound variable ― arrays. All of which help your write more powerful and intelligent programs using less code.

Ruby on Rails 5 Basics Jay McGavren
In this course, we’re going to set up a simple blogging app with just a handful of Rails commands. Then, we’ll dive into what we’ve created and help you really understand what’s going on. We’ll show you how to work with models, views, and controllers to quickly add new features to your app. By the end of this course, you’ll be ready to create basic web apps in Rails.
